Leviticus 19:31

“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”

Daniel 2:27

Daniel answered the king and said, “No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked”

Micah 5:12

“And I will cut off sorceries from your hand, and you shall have no more tellers of fortunes;”

Exodus 20:3

“You shall have no other gods before me.”

Paganism: The Rustic form of Polytheism that died out

As we go back in time and explore the lost era of Polytheism across the world, the most prominent one and which is getting resurrected in present as well is Paganism. Paganism is rustic Polytheism which is inclusive of Nature Worshiping and a Spiritual movement of exchange of energies across various Universes.
A typical Pagan ritual can be as simple as casting a spell using Nature’s forces to chanting and drumming in the forest, dancing with ancestral spirits to cast healing on Earth. Paganism believes in multiple Gods & Goddesses who mark their existence through Nature. Similar to Sanatan Dharma’s practices of worshipping Prakriti in Divine Feminine forms, Paganism Divine Feminine Energy practices were massive once upon a time which were carried on by Priestesses or Sorceresses.

Sacred Feminine
Priestess

It’s said a Priestess/Sorceress/Witch is a lady who goes about as a channel between the Heavenly and the Earthly domains, as our reality moves and turns its connections to the Divine Feminine. The Priestess Grove contains instruments and manifestations to energize the development and reappearance of Goddess into the third dimensional world. From Celtic to Wicca, Paganism believes that Divine Feminine energy is capable of healing & destroying in various forms. The women with such abilities & clairvoyance helped the souls to evolve, heal and ascend.

The decline of Paganism with the rise of Monotheism.

Times changed, and the Abrahamic Religions germinated from Judaism to Christianity & further Islam. Amongst these, Christianity and Islam were the prime ones behind the decline of Pagan worshipping. Christianity grew across the Roman Empire and leashed its agony against women healers in the name of Church.

Exodus 22:18

“You shall not permit a sorceress to live.”

Women were burnt at stakes and labeled as Witches; the ones who worship the Devil. Places like Salem had Witch Trials where women were hung in numbers for being vessels of Satan.

Isaiah 8:19

And when they say to you, “Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?

Christianity was not the only one with blood on their hands. Islam sprouted from Paganism in Mecca but it went all against it, layered with misogyny.

The Pre-Islamic Arabia had three Semitic Goddesses namely Manāt, , Allat and Al-‘Uzzá, who were worshipped for fate, fortune, time, and destiny but, their temples were destroyed on the orders of Muhammad under Satanic Verses.

(Sura 53, 19–20)

“Have you thought of al-Lāt and al-‘Uzzá
and Manāt, the third, the other?

Satan tempted him to utter the following line:These are the exalted gharāniq, whose intercession is hoped for”

The line was sourced from the religious chant of Meccan polytheists who prayed to the three goddesses while circumambulating the Ka’aba.

The Sword verse of Quran says [9:5]

But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

In the name of Idol worshipping, pagans were slaughtered or forcibly converted into Monotheism.

Man made religions v/s Women: Does God hate women?

If we explore the causal factors, Paganism was predominantly carried by Divine Feminine being worshipped in various forms, ranging from the Nature to Moon Rituals. The Divine Feminine was considered strong enough to alter Divine Masculine as well. Even the biological take on women states that their brains are wired to be more emotional and intuitive in nature. The nurturing energy produced by women can be creative & destructive at the same time. Polytheistic practices always catered this form until Abrahamic invasions started spreading misogyny, male supremacy, objectification of women, and discrimination of women through dominance.

1 Timothy 2:11–15

Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing — if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.

Quran Verse 4:34

Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband’s) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

Genesis 3:16

To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

The entire strong nurturing energy inside the vulnerable body of a woman was marked as illnesses, signs of devil, polluted, and weak.
Pagans were killed in numbers and women were converted forcibly to procreate a lineage for men. Christians gas-lighted the people and labeled them to be sinners for listening to “mad & evil women”.
The art of negative manifestation worked as people evolved materialistically but slipped in terms of spiritual ascension.

Paganism in Present times

There still exist remains of Goddesses across the world. Anthropologists have recovered remains of nature worshipping rituals as well. The lineage of Pagan rituals is being brought on surface through plenty of books and is slowly building up its presence on social media platforms as well.

Today Paganism is returning back as Neo-Pagan form called Wicca, where plenty of women are transforming back into their Divine form with age & experience through nature worshipping, rituals, meditation and mass awakening. Reflecting the current times, it is evident how the nature is revolting. And this retaliation is a collective one, a mass awakening which is altering the Earth through the forces of Nature. The Divine Feminine speaks through all of us, with the purpose to create and liberate. As humans it is our responsibility to acknowledge its existence rather than altering it with our Egos.
